Born in England in 1961, Lee Marshall has been living in Rome since 1984. A travel writer (Conde Nast Traveller UK, Departures US) and film critic (Screen International), he has edited guides to Venice and the South of France, and covered all three major European film festivals. Long fascinated by the creative side of the film industry, and prompted by his wife, daughter and mid-life crisis, he recently decided to cross the no man's land between writing about films and writing films.
