Script-writer
Born in Bologna, Italy, in 1971, he graduated in Political Sciences in 1995 and then moved to Turin to attend the Scuola Holden?s biennial Master in Techniques of Narration. Since 1998 he?s been living in Rome, where he writes first of all and then works as programming consultant for the italian television satellite channel Raisat Cinema World. In 2001, with the short novel E poi smette, he won the italian literary Prize Iceberg and got to Sarajevo to participate to the Biennial of the Young Mediterranean Artists. In 2002, with his co-writer and co-director Alex Oriani, he was awarded the Prize ?Cinecittà Digital? to the best short movie?s script, ?Prima classe?.
Shot totally with a new generation Hi-Def Thomson digital camera, Prima classe has been shown in several Film Festivals, like Los Angeles Italian Film Awards ? Laifa, Festival des Films du Monde de Montréal and Venice in 2003, Trieste Short Film Festival and Rome International Film Festival in 2004. In 2005 Alessandro has been developing the script for a full length feature film in collaboration with an important italian director and most of all he?s now writing his first own project, the absurd comedy Camera Caritatis.
