After technical studies specializing in image processing and various stints as lighting technician, DOP in video, AD or VTR operator on TV sets, short films, and advertising in France and Belgium, I wanted to turn towards more creative things. I learned storytelling techniques on the job: I contributed to the writing of two first movies in course of production, trained as a script reader for Unlimited Films in Strasbourg, and found inspiration in script doctor’s books as well as in hermeneutics and literature. I hold a degree in philosophy, but also followed courses in history of art and literary critic.
Including trainee schemes and Script & Pitch, I wrote about 30 reports, mainly from screenplays, but also from step outlines, treatments or written pitch. I’m now a developing script editor and work in freelance for writers/directors and producers.
I’m a member of “Sequence 7”, a French association for young scriptwriters under the aegis of UGS, the French writers guild. As a writer, I’m the author of Success Story, a short film script currently in the works.
