Antonio Piazza
Script writer
Antonio was born in Italy in 1970. From 1994 to 1997 he works as journalist in Palermo for the daily local newspapers and for two private Sicilian television stations. He starts his education as a screenwriter in 1996 at the Holden School in Turin, where he attends a two year post-graduate diploma in narrative techiniques. In 1998 he attends a Training and Specialisation Course for screenwriters organised by Rai and started writing for Italian tv shows. In 2003 Antonio and his co-writer Fabio Grassadonia write the film Ogni volta che te ne vai, produced by Fandango and Medusa and directed by Davide Cocchi.
From 2004 to 2006 he works for the producer Aurelio De Laurentiis as author and as a editor for the projects developed over this two year period, as well as buying consultant for the distribution department.
Antonio is now developing a drama series for Italian television and he is completing his first novel.
