In 1999 Emma Beckström left her architecture studies for the European Film College in Ebeltoft, Denmark. During the making of her first film Zzzz in a dark room in the cellar of the school she found the beautiful art of puppet animation. This would lead her to FAMU, uiversity of Film and Television in Prague, Czech Republic in the year 2001.
After some years of working on various projects both in Sweden and abroad, she is now back in her hometown Gothenburg in Sweden, running her own company, mainly focusing on animaiton.
