After finishing film studies at School of Visual Arts and N.Y.U. in New York, Frank Ågren went back to Stockholm and worked with a couple of feature film productions. He then left the film industry for a couple of years working as a creative director in the nightclub/fashion/magazine world. But he also wrote scripts during this time and is currently working full time in the film industry again and is in production right now with a Swedish feature film and preproduction with one Swedish and one European production. His project at S&P is to tell the story of Swedish aristocrat Axel von Fersen who was the lover of the French queen Marie Antoinette, who risked his own life trying to save during the French revolution. A story of great but impossible love, kings and queens, revolution and war, escape and death, heartbreak and sorrow. The ideal love story.
