Born in Germany in 1977, Franziska Müller enrolled in "Cultural Mediation and Communication Studies" in France for two years. On her return to Germany she studied "Film and Theatre Arts" finishing with a distinction in 2006. While working for her master thesis on "Tools of Script Consulting. Phil Parker's Differentiation of Genre and Style for Script Development" she examined thoroughly different theories of script writing, genre definitions as well as their practical use in the script development process.
During internships at the script&development lab of nordmedia Fonds GmbH (Hannover) and at Script House (Berlin) she helped organising the national script development programme "Talents 2004", learned from experienced script consultants and assisted them in their work.
Franziska Müller lives in Berlin. Since 2006 she is working as a freelance script consultant and editor, mainly for Constantin Film and ARD Degeto. She is also a member of the German Script Consultant Association VeDRA.
