Celia Canning is a New Zealander with British citizenship living in Paris, France.
Celia graduated in Graphic Arts in Auckland, New Zealand in 1979 then in Animated Cinema in Paris in 1983.
Over the years she has worked as an animated short film writer-director, children’s and adult book illustrator, in theatre (writing, set design, costumes, masks...) and a bit later on in music videos as a director, documentary film work etc...
She began writing at the age of 12  discovering it was a handy and harmless way of delving into other people’s less fortunate lives which has lead to the development of two feature film scripts of which one is drama, the second a musical comedy.
