Sebastian Mantilla (1979) is a Spaniard born in Quito, Ecuador,  raised in Stockholm, Berlin, Bucharest and Brussels and graduated from the IDEC in Barcelona with Looking for Marton, a mockumentary shot in Budapest about Hungarian painter Laszlo Marton
In 2004 he shot Con diva, the story of a homosexual Muslim who is trying to survive in Barcelona, broadcasted on Televisión Española, selected at the Cannes Film Festival (Critic's Week) and Sundance Film Festival.
Next year he shoots The Other Voice, White and Bully the Kid in Brazil and Spain. In 2007 he directs Next to Babilonia, his feature film debut about the Spanish mercenaries during the Iraq war. He is now postproducing his short documentary The Captain and in development of his next film Canal at Script & Pitch (MEDIA).
