Itamar graduated from The Midrasha – Beit Berl Art and Film School in Kfar Saba, Israel, in 2000. For several years, Itamar directed short films and collaborated on video projects with local artists as an editor and photographer. In 2007 he directed his first documentary film “Stefan Braun” which won the Israeli Best First Film award in 2008 at the Documentary Forum, in addition to the Jerusalem Film Festival’s award for photography. In 2009 Itamar directed a three-episode documentary series, "Dancing with tears in the eyes" and was accepted to a residency in Berlin to write the script for his first feature film, "Cascade of glass". In 2010, Itamar is working on “City Escape”, a new, five-episode documentary series, in addition to a documentary film, "Baytel", and his first musical album, "hut."
