Alessandro Borrelli works with a number of training institutions as a tutor and talent scout, seeking for and promoting new authors and original projects on the international film market.
He deals with copyrights, starting from the script options until the launch of the film, throughout all its development and production. In the last few years, he has attended all major international markets, on behalf of La Sarraz Pictures as well as representing other companies; thanks to such experience, he has become familiar with the dynamics of the industry and has acquired the best practice for the promotion and development of projects for cinema and documentaries alike. From 2004 until today he produced six creative documentaries and is now developing three feature length films for cinema markets and two creative documentaries for TV broadcasts.

La Sarraz Pictures is an Italian film company based in Turin and Rome founded in 2004 by Alessandro Borrelli. La Sarraz Pictures produces creative documentaries through the slot “doc@lasarraz” and features film; in particular, through the project “Discovering talents” it develops and produces first features film of talented young European directors and scriptwriters.
In 2004 La Sarraz Pictures became a member of European Documentary Network and a partner of “Doc.It”. Every year La Sarraz attended several pitching sessions in the documentary field and documentaries market as Merca Doc (Malaga), DocsBarcelona, DocIn Eurpe (Bardonecchia), Docs in Thessaloniki, DocsBarcelona, IDFA (Amsterdam) and Sunny Side of the doc (La Rochelle). In the fiction cinema field La Sarraz attended the most important European film markets as Berlin, Cannes and Rotterdam Cine Mart. La Sarraz Pictures is now developing two first features film project “Luminiza” by Gianluca and Massimiliano De Serio and “Ego te absolvo” by Alessandro Bignami, which was developed during Script&Pitch 2005 and won the MEDIA New Talent Development Fund.
