Katharina Schwarz is the head of PageMagnet - the Screenwriters’ Park. She has extensive experience in the entire field of production - nationally as well as internationally. Apart from producing a feature film and several short movies Katharina has also supervised the distribution and marketing of several films. Due to her all-round experience in film production Katharina has an unique and commercial viewpoint on how to move the interface between writer/artist and producer/client forward.

In September 2005 Katharina Schwarz founded the screenwriters’ agency PageMagnet. A total of 15 German and native English speaking writers are currently signed up with PageMagnet. The agency takes care of the artistic, financial and as legal interests of the writers. Moreover, PageMagnet supervises their creative and professional development and maintains close contact with producers and networks. Our main focus is the supply of screenwriters for all genres and formats. Primarily, our writers are specialised in fiction, developing scripts for film and TV features and series. But we also represent writers who work for PR, commercials, industrial projects and documentaries. Apart from that the agency offers a writers’ room service and a full palate of screenplay services. PageMagnet has consciously shifted its focus towards establishing a stable of native English speaking writers. This policy is motivated by the increasing number of international co-productions, which has reached a new peak. In 2006 44 of 122 feature films that were broadcasted were international co-productions.
